WHAT IS HAWKER.sg
This is a long-term photography project, documenting the people who pass through Singapore’s hawker centres, featuring hawkers, workers, and visitors. The project will visit hawker centres around Singapore over 12 months, creating a consistent series of simple, respectful portraits. The work is intended as a cultural and artistic documentation of everyday life in these spaces, and the interesting people that spend time there.
